Wandering around a very grey wet day in Brixham last week and this image seemed to be the only source of any colour, I was intially taken by the shape of this blue boat against the grey water then noticed the young gull perched at the front. I've cloned out a few of the distracting reflections in the water and the mooring rope to the rear to emphasis the boat more and also toned down the orange of the lifebuoys along with a slight vignette to draw the viewer in.

Nice plus good use of post processing. Well seen. Just wondering if the whites are too bright? Or maybe the gull needs bringing out? Not sure. Well done anyway.
I find the bright red float too distracting but the orange life belts at the prow help draw one's eye towards the gull.
