Thanks all for your valuable comments on this image, here is a version with the edits you have suggested applied to it. I think it looks better now. I have cropped it all around, darkened and desaturated the red, totally desaturated the blue to avoid the tint in the vignette, I also did this in the blue book because I felt it jumped out. I toned down the book at the top, making the writing in it more visible, adding to the story because it seems it has technical plans in it. I also cloned out everything on the top of the box in the bottom left corner to focus attention on the clipboard. The drawers are now a bit lighter too. Not really what I would have thought of to do, but all of these things seem to help lift the image, I tried to reduce the vignette at the bottom but even with the Vignette slider at -1.00 it didn't really reduce it. I agree its competition appeal may be potentially limited, but it was a good subject for discussion, and just me trying something new really. Thank you, Saul.

I think that is much better. Maybe 2 or 3 percent of black on the clipboard clip would make it look less burnt out.
