A key date in the CCC calendar is the students’ evening where we hear from local students and see their work which is sure to take us out of our camera club bubble. This year we will be treated to presentations by the winners of our Student Bursary from the University of Gloucestershire.

Lisa Lavery specialises in creating unique photographic art by using traditional and historical processes such as cameraless photography, double exposure and cyanotypes. An experienced tutor and employee of the University of Gloucestershire, she will be guiding us through her process for making cyanotypes, illustrated by her distinctive work.

Just mention the name China conjures a plethora of images, people, conceptions and misconceptions, assumptions and stereotypes. Yet, if you ask your friends and family you might find that not many have ever visited the country. This might not be great for the Chinese tourism industry and those who wish to visit...
