This is a shot from my street portrait session around Tate Modern. I saw this attractive couple, asked them to 'act natural' and got this. I also did a classic close-up portait which I also like but I prefer this one. I love the spontaneous reaction between them and that look. I kept it wide to show the brick wall and the simple bench. I think it would make a great album or book cover, with space on the left for text. They both love it, which delighted me because it turns out that they are both actors and have been photographed many times. I know that because I gave them my IG details at the scene and she got in touch.
A classic shot, John. Yes, agreed, good as a cover. On the mono camera? Looks good anyway.
