Got an Architecture round coming up, and I really like this one, but not sure if it's not a little too minimal?
My first thought is minimal but powerful. Pretty sure it wouldn't work in mono - the colour is a massive part of it. A thought provoking unusual view on perspective. Definitely unusual and I quite like it.
I would like to see more of it. For architecture, we are often encourage to try to compensate for perspective by "correcting" in PS or by using a Tilt & Shift lens but I often prefer to just blatently show the non-parallel lines as we see them which can then emphasise the height, shape or design of the building.
The more I look at this image the more I like it the bold colour with the single window to the left and the converging pattern of windows to the right leading you out of the image. The only thing that detracts my eye is that the start of the second row of windows has been cropped at the top .
