Had a few hours to fill down at Brixham so wandered down to the beach to see what the sun set was doing, unfortunatly all the colour was on the other side of the bay but with no interest, so turned attention to the shady side of the bay and went for the mono approach. my point of interest was the tree in the on the far cliff and was taken by the different of patterns in the rocks.
Taken at f10 with a 24 second exposure
Cheers

Nice and peaceful and smooth water from the 24 sec exposure. A good range of tones as well. If you had followed Jonathan Genevaux's advice you would have known in advance the direction of the sunset. However, at least you did not waste the opportunity.

This is lovely, I think a little crop off the bottom so that the big builder is just seated, and a crop on the right so that the boulder in the water still has water flowing round it (and the bushy tree well above it is not cropped off), would emphasise a curve from big boulder, granite boulder, sea boulder, then round the headland to the tree. This also has the benefit of removing the bland rock at the bottom right.
