This photo of Jelly Ears fungi (I think) was taken at Slimbridge. The background on the right was quite bright which I have tried to tone down. I cropped it slightly to remove a small bright patch on the top left side.
Interesting photo, I like the contrasts of bark, fungi and lichen. The background does draw my attention but sometimes with nature there is little you can do about it I suppose.
An interesting grouping. I found some of this in Queen's Wood near Southam. I was looking low down for any fungai then suddenly the Jelly Fungus at eye level. Not sure I could suggest nay improvement though the colours seem a little over saturated.
Very pleasing image, I'm not bothered by the background, but the lighter bark at bottom left keeps drawing my eye, so I would look at darkening that down a tad. I like the composition, but you could crop some off the top to put the right hand ear nearer the top right corner.
