I must confess that I haven't had the camera out much in this dull, cold weather. This is my most recent picture taken a few days ago near a local pond. Not sure why I like it, but I do.

Same here, it hasn't been 'photography weather'. But nice photo, very striking. Like the mono treatment. Is the square format inspired by Tony Worobiec? Suits it anyway.
The low angle emphasises how tall the reeds are. Probably would have also worked in colour.
