David Haigh having trumped me with his great picture of the Hercules I thought rather than talk about the same thing twice I'd take the liberty of adding a second image. Geological features are allowed in "Nature" although one seldom sees them in competitions. I wondered if this one fits the bill.

I think this would be good as a print, possibly on textured paper.
This is a good shot of the geology; quite dramatic. As a pictorial shot the figure does enhance it but as pure Geology, you would need a shot without the figure.
