Taken at the Rallye Prescott event the other week, this was multiple 30 second exposures (I think 5 in total) to overlay the light trails of the cars as they raced up the hill. I have tried to ensure that the light trails were visible along the extent of the track that was in the frame, not sure if the judges would like the rather bright headlights as the cars enter the frame but not sure what else I could do apart from knocking back the highlights with masks.
I would like to add that this low resolution file does not do the image justice
To me this effectively communicates the energy of the moving cars and has a strong mood.
An effective idea. I have been to Prescott many times but never in the dark.
