Not sure about this one, Saul. It's very busy. As my old mentor would say, 'What is this picture about?' Inside is good, with the chair, window on the world etc. Outside is good too, and you've captured a lot of grotty shopping streets. I feel that when you put inside and outside together it takes the edge off both.
Very interesting idea. My initial reaction was that I wanted to see the background through the windows more clearly. I don't know, butperhaps a sharp row of shops in the background and a more out of focus foreground front windowframe and chairs might work better.
Perhaps might be improved by linking the inside and outside by a lonely figure in the seat looking out.
