The First Tuesday Group meets at The Victory Club, Burlington House, Lypiatt Road, Cheltenham, GL50 2SY at 7:30pm on the first Tuesday of each month.
This is a more informal and hands-on group than the main meeting with discussions, questions, a nice relaxed atmosphere and a bar available.
Sessions during the 2024/25 season included: AI discussion and demonstration, Preparing a Panel of Photographs; Portraits with just one light; Some intermediate Photoshop techniques; Momentos as subjects; The Club’s Severn River project; Nature photography; Off-camera flash; RPS Progress; Sessions will have an interactive hands-on slant wherever possible.
Sessions are announced at main meetings, on In-Focus and on the Club’s Website. All welcome.

This year, we’ll be keeping our First Tuesday groups running over the summer months. For July, we’ll be having one of the popular and relaxed image critiquing and help sessions, with a bit of editing thrown in for good measure. Taken some images in the last few weeks/months? Bring along some photos on a memory stick to share and discuss amongst fellow members. Maybe you want to chat about different editing ideas or, know what you have in mind but, would like a bit of help in achieving it. Either way, there is no right or wrong, just come along and have a drink/chat over some great images.
