This photo I took on my recent holiday in Tuscany on the long, 20 minutes, funicular from the village Montecatini Alto down to the town of Montecatini Terme below. It is a pity the “driver” prevented me taking a central position.
A fantastic area to visit (or even live). Scenery, food and wine top class with friendly people as well. Your shot is dramatic making it clear how important that cable is.

Great shot. My eye is slightly caught by the small black box on the bottom edge, and the globe light on the right - a small crop gets rid of both of those so that there's nothing distratcing in the foreground, forcing your eye through the picture. The village at the bottom is definitely necessary for your memories, but if you crop down from the top you get a great abstract image, where you can't tell if you're on the flat looking up, or at the top of a steep slope looking down.
