A still life composition found between the yellow lines and the kerb on a busy main road. Photographed at 75mm to avoid getting run over! I was struck by the simplicity of the composition especially the dissection of the diagonal lines at both corners with the centrally placed round apple and strangely complementary cigarette. For me, finding this kind of thing is what makes street photography fun. Interested to know opinions about whether this works, can be improved etc.
Yes, I do think that this works well. Thus I cannot suggest any changes.

I like this, but I think a wider shot with a bit more space and a bit more context - for example showing the whole yellow or double yellows might be better - you've probably caught that too!
