The Nature Group frequently organise outings to nature reserves and other areas of interest, usually within the surrounding area. 'Nature' encompasses all aspects of the landscape, from animals, birds and insects, to plants, trees, fungi and the macroscopic world.
If you have an interest in the natural world then the Nature Group will have something to interest you, and interacting with other members of the group will help develop your photographic skills.

Nature Group trip to Slimbridge on Saturday 24th January. Meet in the Reception at 10am. Lunch in the Kingfisher Café at 12.00.
Bewick swans, many geese and ducks plus other species to be seen at this time of the year. PLEASE NOTE that should the weather be unsuitable this trip will be cancelled. I wil put a message on Bulletins and WhatsApp to confirm a cancellation.

Nature Group Outing to Nature in Art 19th March, 2026
The next Nature Group outing is to Nature in Art to see the 100 winning photographs from the prestigious International Wildlife Photographer of the Year.
It will be an opportunity to be inspired by the top wildlife photographers from around the world.
Meet: Nature in Art, Twigworth
When: Thursday 19th March at 10.30. Meet in Foyer
Tickets: £7.50/ Concessions £6.75
Stay for refreshments and/or lunch in the Cafe around midday
