Abstract and Creative Photography
This presentation illustrates how I make creative and impressionistic images almost entirely in camera. Techniques include: ICM (Intentional Camera Movement), Multiple Exposure, Creative White Balance, and Creative Close-up. It’s a passion of mine which has developed from my early creative instincts and blossomed as modern DSLR cameras have evolved. It is also a deliberately stark contrast to the landscape photography I have enjoyed for so many years. I detail my approach, techniques and what inspires and drives me in my efforts in this genre. I've been privileged to teach both genres on many workshops, but I'm now operate purely for personal pleasure. My aim is to inspire and to illustrate – sharing my passion and techniques which have been practised and honed over time. All I ask is an open mind.
